World Changers Church International to Launch a Fellowship Church in Orlando on August 2

Atlanta-based ministry expands into central Florida at Olympia High School

ATLANTA, GA—July 27, 2015 – World Changers Church International announces the opening of a fellowship church in The Beautiful City of Orlando, Florida. WCCI, headquartered in the Atlanta suburb of College Park, Georgia, is a global ministry organization with flagship churches in Atlanta and New York, and satellite campuses known as Fellowship Churches in the US, Canada and Australia. Headed up by Pastors Creflo and Taffi Dollar, World Changers now boasts more than two dozen fellowship locations and is continuing to explore expansions into cities all over the world. Initially, World Changers Church Orlando will host its services at Olympia High School, at 4301 South Apopka Vineland Road.

World Changers Church International started the fellowship church network to meet the growing demand for ministry and outreach in markets across the country and around the world. Viewers of the ministry’s Changing Your World broadcast, which is aired worldwide in a number of languages, consistently reach out to WCCI inquiring about access to services, community programs and ministry support in their local areas. The network began with Satellite campuses in several Georgia locations and has continued to expand as the local inquiries come in from around the globe. Each Fellowship Church has a local pastor and provides a suite of services comparable to those of any local church, but is linked up to the live services from Atlanta and New York via streaming technology.

Training and mock services have been going on for weeks, as leaders prepare to receive the Orlando congregation for the first time on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Olympia High School. Minister Michael Jones, The Director of Fellowship Operations at WCCI, is excited about bringing this unique style of ministry to Orlando. “We have had inquiries from the Orlando area for years, and we’re looking forward to getting the latest in a series of new churches off the ground,” he says. “This location is another step in the direction of the WCCI vision to reach people with the gospel all over the world. We welcome those who would like to join us to come out on Sunday and experience this unique ministry fellowship.” WCC Orlando is planning a back to school event in the coming days.

Services are at 10:00 am each Sunday. All are welcome.
