Believers live in the world without being part of it; this means that Christians are called to resist the spirit of fear that has gripped the world. God commanded us not to be afraid; therefore, we must be on the alert and not allow fear to control or dominate our lives. We expel and defeat it by believing in God’s love for us. Knowing how God’s law of the spirit of life operates, and being willing to activate it by our words, enables us to exert our authority over fear.
