Christians are called to be bold and confident. It’s not God’s will that we’re fearful or afraid of anything. Satan uses fear to control us; we therefore must be extremely sensitive to its presence in our lives. It’s dangerous not to know God through a personal relationship with Him, because Satan uses our ignorance of God to make his words of fear sound like God’s Word. A solid grounding in the Word keeps us from being deceived.
