God never sends us bad things, yet He always causes good things to come from them. Experiencing pain and trouble is part of life; however, in the middle of situations we find that God is maturing us and developing our character. We all like being comfortable, but moving out of our comfort zone forces us to grow and mature. We live by faith, and therefore must trust God to show us how to live a life of victory over adversity. He’s committed to staying with us when we go through our fiery trials; the experience of having Him walk us through something to the other side deepens the personal relationship He wants with us. When we’re suffering, God provides us with His presence, His power, and His provision. No matter what happens, He’ll never leave us on our own.
