Christ Will Restore Everything the Enemy Stole

Print

Life has a way of throwing us a curveball when we least expect it. The world may not know how to handle setbacks, but believers don’t have to accept them. The devil uses adversity to steal what God gave us, but in the midst of whatever issue is going on in our lives right now, we must remember that it’s not over. God will always have the last word.

The things the enemy stole—whether it’s our health, our financial security, our peace of mind, or anything else that’s dear to us—God promises to restore. Regardless of what Satan does, he’ll fail when we stand on God’s promises, because restoration is His will for us.

If we fall sick, God will restore health to us. If our finances are under attack, He’ll supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. If our peace of mind is threatened, the God of peace will crush Satan under our feet. This is due to the grace of Jesus with us.

Faith in supernatural restoration is the key to experiencing it. In the Old Testament, David suffered plenty of adversity, yet confessed that he would have fainted and given up if he hadn’t believed he would see God’s goodness. God promises restoration, but Satan works hard to keep us from the believing those promises can come to pass. When the enemy has stolen from us, our faith allows God to restore the years that the locust, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar ate.

According to God’s spiritual laws, when the thief is caught he is required to restore sevenfold what he stole from us. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but God brings full restoration, to the point where our lives are overflowing. He makes everything better than before.
When everything caves in on us, trusting in God’s favor supernaturally reverses the situation. There’s no reason to tolerate less than His best for us. He’s the God of the turnaround.

Prayer:
Lord, it’s not Your will that the enemy steals the things that You want us to have. Your Son came and restored everything that was stolen from us in the beginning so that we no longer have to settle for less than the best. We’re grateful for that. In Jesus’ name, amen.
