Declaring What the Blood of Jesus Accomplished

For most people, blood is defined as the red liquid that flows through their veins. Blood is central to life, and worldly knowledge of it is usually confined to its physical and scientific properties. However, what courses through our veins is a gift from God, who sent His Son to bleed and die so that we could live supernatural lives. Believing in the power of Jesus’ blood strongly enough to speak it over whatever comes against us gives us a tremendous advantage in life.
Satan wants to destroy our trust in what Jesus did for us on the cross, but he’s a defeated foe. He doesn’t know how to deal with an informed Christian who knows about the blood. Faith in what Jesus’ blood accomplished throws the devil into a panic; when we submit to God and resist the devil, he’ll flee from us. Proclaiming this is how we overcome the enemy.
Jesus’ death replaced the law with grace; the end of the law also meant the end of all the generational curses associated with it. He redeemed us from the curse of the law because He, Himself, became a curse for us. He did this so that the blessing of Abraham could come to the Gentiles. Because of Christ, we now have generational blessings.
Before Jesus, the people lived in constant fear of death; even today this is true for those who don’t know God. Thankfully, this isn’t an issue for us. Because God’s children are human beings made of flesh and blood, the Son also became flesh and blood so that He could die; only by dying could he defeat the devil, who had the power of death. This is how God delivered those who all their lives feared death.
Jesus’ blood justifies us before God and spares us from His wrath. He now sees us as if we’ve never sinned. Pleading the blood allows us to crush Satan under our feet. This is how God wants us to live.
Prayer:God, Your Son paid the ultimate price to defeat the enemy and give us the kind of life You want us to enjoy. Realizing how much power His blood holds allows us to maintain our victory over the devil. Thank You for what You did. In Jesus’ name, amen.
