One Ministry, One Church, One Message Worldwide
The weekly meditation scripture and inspirational nugget are designed to encourage you in your walk with God, strengthen your faith and give you a specific scripture to meditate on all week long. To get the most out of these weekly scriptures, we encourage you to keep them before you every day and apply them to your life and circumstances. Declare them daily and stay focused on them until you experience true results.
At some point in our lives, we’ve all found ourselves in situations where we felt trapped in a pit with no way out. It’s a helpless feeling to realize that no matter what we do, we can’t seem to break free from trouble through our own efforts. But when we get born again, we become the recipients of God’s favor in the same way Jesus received favor from the Father. Trusting in the grace He has toward us allows Him to pull us out of any pit of despair into which we fall and place our feet back on solid ground.
Jesus gives us hope when we can’t find any, and His influence radically changes our lives. When we’re barely struggling along, His presence gives us a tremendous advantage in life. Encountering Him begins a transformation in us from the inside out; relying on Him every day reveals to us the great things that can be done only through Him. His Holy Spirit in us causes us to stand out like a beacon to others, empowering us to bring them hope and encouragement.
Regardless of who we are or what circumstances we’re in, God wants to pour His favor on us. It happened to a slave named Joseph and a young engaged girl named Mary, and it can happen to us as well. When it comes to showing grace, God doesn’t distinguish one person from another.
God is good, and He doesn’t like to see His children suffer or struggle. We don’t have to do anything to receive His grace; all we have to do is believe that He wants the best for us. When it comes our way, we’ll know without a shadow of a doubt Who it’s from, and we can give Him the glory for it.
Lord, You care so much for me that You refuse to abandon me. Your ability and willingness to deliver me just when I need help has changed my life and empowered me in unimaginable ways. You are the game-changer! In the name of Your Son, Jesus, I thank You for reaching down and pulling me out of the pit.
