Obtaining Grace through Faith

Print

Our faith takes what God has made available. It is really that simple. You will not live a life of grace if you do not believe that grace has been made available for you personally and is more than enough for whatever situation or circumstance you face. As Believers, we must know, as well as understand, what faith is in order to truly experience the grace of God in our everyday lives. Since God requires us to live by faith in order to manifest everything Jesus made available for us, our definition of faith must be precise. Hebrews 11:1 in the Amplified Bible says, “Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”  Faith is our title deed! It’s our guarantee that what we are believing for shall come to pass. Now, I’m not talking about believing for things that are in direct opposition to God’s will or His way of doing things. I’m talking about the plentiful promises of God, the personal promises He’s given directly to you. God wants us to use our “title deed” faith to take hold of all the promises that grace made available to us. However, we must not be naïve. We must know that Satan does not want us to use our faith. We cannot let the devil talk us out of our title deed. Many believers today don’t realize that when they become convinced they no longer need to attend church or read God’s word or that “since God hasn’t done anything yet they should just give up,” the devil is trying to talk them out of their title deed. The devil hates to see your faith at work and he will do anything possible to try to stop you from believing God. I’m going to let you in on something, just in case you haven’t considered this: faith works EVERY TIME, all the time, when you believe for the promises of God to manifest in your life. Grace will show up and show out in a situation on your behalf simply because you BELIEVED! Child of God, do not be deceived by the devil. God is still faithful to fulfill and bring to pass every promise that He’s ever given you. This is your reminder, your opportunity, to make a change. Choose to ONLY BELIEVE what God said and commit to casting your cares, doubts, insecurities, fears, and everything else into His hands.

Prayer:

Father, thank You so much for all that You’ve done in our lives because of Jesus. There is so much more that You want us to experience and obtain. We commit to believing that Your promises are true for us and we take hold of what grace has made available for us by faith. We will not be defeated. We will not be distracted. Faith works every time. WE BELIEVE and that settles it. It is in Your son Jesus’ name that we pray. AMEN!
