FOR THE WEEK OF October 10, 2016

The Heart Established With Grace

Print

God’s grace never changes, wavers or falters. Grace is real, and equips us with everything we need. This week I want to remind you that there is nothing that you can do to make God love you any more or any less. God loves you with an unfailing unconditional love because of grace, at all times.

When we really begin to understand the grace message from God, we realize that it is radically different from what the world tells us. Romans chapter 5, verse 8 tells us that God clearly shows and proves his love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This is grace.  The Word became flesh and lived among us, full of grace and truth. Moses gave the Law, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Make note that grace is more than a doctrine, a message, a curriculum, or a teaching. Grace is Jesus Christ. In other words, Jesus never changes, wavers or falters. Jesus is real, and equips us with everything we need. Be encouraged today and be of good cheer.

God wants your heart established in grace, established in Jesus. He wants you to know that his love is not based on what you do; it is based on what Jesus has already done. Think about this message as you approach the upcoming week and expect to experience the grace of God on a new level.

Prayer:

Father, thank you for grace and all that grace has made available to us. We humble ourselves acknowledging that we need. We ask that you would keep our hearts established in your grace and let us be examples to other of your unconditional love. It is in Jesus’ name that we pray, Amen.
