The Power of Jesus’ Blood

Print
The blood that Jesus shed for us on the cross carries tremendous power to influence everything that touches our lives. Bleeding and dying to ensure our salvation were the ultimate acts of grace. However, to benefit from what Christ did, we must open our mouths and plead His blood over situations the come against us. We do this with by gaining an understanding of the potential our words have in accessing everything God made available to us.

The words we use are spiritual containers that carry what exists in the supernatural realm to the physical realm. Death and life are in the power of the tongue; we therefore must be careful what we say so as to bring the right things to pass. No one can tame the tongue; speaking the wrong things turns it into a restless evil, full of deadly poison. Guarding our mouths and tongues keeps our souls from trouble.

On a practical level, we plead the blood of Jesus when we speak in agreement with God’s Word. In these end times, we definitely need the protection it gives us. No weapon formed against us will prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment will be condemned. Faith in this opens the door to prosperity and success mentally, physically, financially, and socially.

It’s critical to avoid negative talk that opens the door for the enemy to enter in. When he tempts us to do that, we have the authority to bind what he tries to loose and loose what he tries to bind. Just like God, we have the ability the create something from nothing by calling those things that be not as though they were.

We all can remember situations from which God delivered us. We conquer by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. Speaking in faith on this keeps us victorious.

Prayer:

Lord, Your Son shed His precious blood to give us victory in life. We take authority when we believe this and plead the blood over the works of enemy. Thank You for what You did. In Jesus’ name, amen.
