“Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others” (Philippians 2:3, 4).

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15).

The choices we make today affect what will happen tomorrow. This is critical information for living a successful life, but many people don’t put much thought into just how much of a difference the decisions they make right now will make on their future. Sometimes the impact of a decision we make doesn’t become apparent for months, or even years.

“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers…” (1 Peter 3:12).

“But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him” (1 John 2:5).
