Summary
Knowing God’s will for our lives in general is necessary on our Christian journey, but believers must go deeper and be more specific. Being uncomfortable is a part of life; when we’re going through something painful, we must ask God what His will is for our discomfort. Despite how unpleasant it feels, God wants to grow and mature us spiritually; it’s therefore pointless to ask Him to remove the discomfort. We mustn’t assume that just because we’re Christians, we’ll never encounter trouble. In the midst of something, we may not see God’s hand in the situation; however, persevering and continuing to press forward gives us a new perspective on how God uses even bad things to benefit us.
