The God-Given Gift of Peace

Believers have received gifts from God that the world doesn’t have. One of those gifts is a peace that gives us confidence and security in the midst of trouble. This is a powerful spiritual weapon we can use against the enemy when he attacks our minds and emotions. This peace, which is not of this world, is strong enough to withstand troubled times; there is therefore no need to fear. Instead of being worried or afraid, we handle negative circumstances with prayer and gratitude for God having already settled the issue in our favor. There will always be situations that arise, but having His perfect peace keeps them from unsettling us. All we need to do is count our blessings and remember all that God has done for us in the past; the assurance that if He delivered and protected us once, He can do it again, keeps us peaceful.
