Summary
We live in a world surrounded by spiritual influences, not all of them good. If we are not careful, we can fall prey to philosophies that make us feel inferior. A philosophy is a set of beliefs, values, or ideas handed down from generation to generation that we can begin to live by; some of them elevate human wisdom over God’s wisdom. The spirit of inferiority is not God’s will. When He made mankind, He made men and women in His image and at a level where they could have equal fellowship with Him. Jesus brings equality to everyone, with no distinction; an understanding of who we are in Him banishes all feelings of inferiority. Accepting our identity in Christ allows us to receive what He came to give.
