“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” (Romans 15:13).
The Holy Spirit gives us hope, something not found in the world. When we believe in what Christ did for us and refuse to let anything take away that hope, we find joy and peace, two more spiritual gifts not found in the world.

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30).
When we are in Christ, our behavior does not determine our identity. Even when we sin and fall short, we are still righteous, holy, and redeemed.

“Mas por él estáis vosotros en Cristo Jesús, el cual nos ha sido hecho por Dios sabiduría, justificación y redención” (1 Corintios 1:30).
Cuando estamos en Cristo, nuestro comportamiento no determina nuestra identidad. Aun cuando pecamos, todavía somos justos, santos y redimidos.

“Antes bien, creed en la gracia y el conocimiento de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo. A él sea gloria ahora y hasta el día de la eternidad. Amén” (2 Pedro 3:18, NVI).
No es la voluntad de Dios para que nos preocupemos. Al nosotros tener una relación profunda con Jesucristo, muy poco nos encontraremos preocupados y estresados.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18, NKJV).
It is not God’s will for us to worry. The more we deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ, the less we find ourselves worried and stressed.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6, 7, NKJV).
We don’t have to allow worry to rob us of the joy God wants us to have. We have his promise that when we prayerfully present our troubles to him, he’ll exchange our anxieties for his peace.

“No se inquieten por nada; más bien en toda ocasión, con oración y ruego, presenten sus peticiones a Dios y dén gracias, y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, cuidará sus corazones y sus pensamientos en Cristo Jesús” (Filipenses 4:6, 7, NVI).
No tenemos que permitir que la preocupación nos robe del gozo que Dios desea para nuestras vidas. Tenemos su promesa cuando presentamos nuestros problemas, él intercambiará nuestras ansiedades para su paz.

Cuando tratamos de deshacernos de un mal hábito o cambiar un comportamiento que no es adecuado para nosotros, confiando en nuestra propia fuerza de voluntad no es suficiente. Su espíritu remueve nuestro propio egoísmo y nos lleva a querer hacer su voluntad para nosotros.

“For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (Philippians 2:13, NIV).
When we try to break a bad habit or change a behavior we know isn’t good for us, relying on our own willpower is not enough. His Spirit removes our own selfish wants and causes us to want to do his will for us.
