Summary
To grow and mature as Christians, it’s imperative that we let God move us out of our comfort zone. Pain and suffering are to be expected when we live godly lives; this is necessary because enduring it strengthens us. Going through something makes us more like Christ; He suffered for us so that He could suffer with us. Jesus wants a relationship with us; He died and was resurrected so that, through Him, we could have everything that we once didn’t have access to. Our part in this relationship is to stand in faith that He won the victories for us, even when the enemy tries to get us to doubt this. No matter how painful the situation gets or how severe the trouble is, God’s grace is greater, and strong enough to walk us through it. Letting this grace work in us while we’re being conformed into the image of Christ teaches us to have regard for God over anything else.
