The Old-Testament Shadow vs. New-Testament Reality

It’s important that we understand the difference between Old-Testament shadows and New-Testament realities, because these shadows point to Jesus Christ. This is highlighted in the story of the widow’s offering; the lesson here illustrates that true generosity comes from the heart and isn’t about the amount given, but the spirit in which it’s given.
