Transformed by Delight

It’s good to receive God’s mercy and grace, but doing so guarantees we won’t stay the same. Jesus is grace; a relationship with Him transforms us. God wants us not only to seek His presence, but also to be delighted in it; this changes us. Delighting ourselves in Him makes us easy to teach and gives us the right attitude; it takes us from asking God why we are going through something to asking Him what He wants us to learn from it. Jesus is also love; letting this love lead us in everything we do enables Him to change our hearts so that we begin wanting the same things He wants. God’s will is for grace to be our guide and teacher in our everyday lives. Continually beholding Christ brings about the transformation He wants to see in us.
