“And the next day the Lord did it: All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died” (Exodus 9:6, NIV).
God executed judgment on Egypt by killing their livestock, while sparing the animals of Israel. This miracle demonstrated His justice and favor toward believers, His covenant people.

“If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies; even the ground will be covered with them. But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the LORD, am in this land” (Exodus 8:21, 22, NIV).
When the children of Israel were in bondage in Egypt, God warned Pharaoh of a plague of flies but promised to protect His people in Goshen. This distinction reveals His presence and power over the land.

“For we live by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NIV).
The Christian life is guided by trust in God’s promises, not by visible circumstances. Faith leads us beyond what we can see into the reality of His truth.

“…My righteous ones will live from my faith. But if fear holds them back, my soul is not content with them!” (Hebrews 10:38, TPT).
God calls the righteous to live by unwavering faith, trusting Him fully. Shrinking back in fear displeases Him and disrupts the faith relationship.

“For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself]” (1 John 2:16, AMPC).
Worldly desires and pride aren’t from God, but are rooted in the fallen nature of the world. Believers must reject these influences to walk in true fellowship with the Father.

“That you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel” (Luke 22:30, AMPC).
Jesus promises His faithful followers a place of honor and authority in His kingdom. As His people, we’ll share in His reign and participate in the things of heaven.

“Jesus answered, My kingdom (kingship, royal power) belongs not to this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My followers would have been fighting to keep Me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, My kingdom is not from here (this world); [it has no such origin or source]” (John 18:36, AMPC).
Jesus declares that His kingdom is spiritual and not rooted in worldly systems. His authority transcends earthly power, revealing a supernatural realm governed by heaven’s principles.

“So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20, AMPC).
Believers are appointed as Christ’s ambassadors, carrying His message of reconciliation. God works through us, inviting the world to receive His grace and be restored to Him.

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:20, NIV).
Our true identity is rooted in heaven, not earth. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we live in anticipation of Christ’s return and eternal transformation.
