Nuestra creencia en lo que Jesús hizo es lo que nos justifica y nos hace justos ante Dios. Esto es radicalmente diferente que la fe en cualquier cosa que haríamos a través de nuestro esfuerzo propio.

La vergüenza fue la primera arma usada contra Adán y Eva después que pecaron en el huerto de Edén. Resulta en temor y condenación, y nos hace esconder.

Shame was the first weapon used against Adam and Eve after they sinned in the garden of Eden. It results in fear and condemnation, and makes us want to run and hide.

“A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man holds them back” (Proverbs 29:11, NKJV).
Emotional self-control can be one indication of spiritual maturity. We are seen as either foolish or wise depending on whether we let our feelings get the best of us, or use our authority over our emotions.

El auto control de las emociones puede ser una indicación de madurez espiritual. Somos vistos como necios o sabios, dependiendo si permitimos a nuestras emociones obtener lo mejor de nosotros, o utilizar nuestra autoridad sobre ellos.

Hay una diferencia entre tener emociones en lugar que las emociones nos tengan. Tomando autoridad sobre nuestros sentimientos y manteniendo control emocional nos da poder.

There is a difference between having emotions and emotions having us. Taking authority over our feelings and maintaining emotional control gives us real power.

As Christians, living a quiet and peaceful life is a powerful way to influence others. In this way, we stand out in a noisy and strife-torn world.

Como cristianos, viviendo una vida tranquila y pacifica es un amanera ponderosa para influenciar a otros. De esta manera, estamos en un mundo bullicioso y desgarrada por contiendas.
