In order to defeat shame, Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for every sin we could ever commit. If we believe in the power of what He did, we will never again suffer from sin-consciousness.

Jesús detestaba tanto la vergüenza que él se convirtió en vergüenza para que no tuviéramos que sufrir de ella. Cuando fue clavado en la cruz, la vergüenza fue clavada en la cruz al igual, para que no tuviéramos que llevarlo.

“I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed” (Isaiah 50:6, 7).
Jesus hated shame so much He became shame itself so we would not have to suffer from the pain of it. When He was crucified, shame was nailed to the cross and died so that we would not have to carry it.

“For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12).
When we trust God enough to believe what He tells us in the Bible, we position ourselves to receive His favor. He will shower down blessings like never before and surround us with supernatural protection.
